"Both daughters used this app. My youngest liked the big green "good jobs" that happen after you guess the correct time. The "time before" and "time after" functions were good not only for time, but for reinforcing math concepts for my eldest daughter. Great quality, educational app. Something Im happy to have in my back pocket."

"I wish I could have had a learning tool like this one when my kids were learning to tell time. I like the ability to focus on specific kinds of times questions like "time after." And you can keep ratcheting up the challenge by setting higher levels of difficulty as time concepts are mastered. The new Mixed Mode and Set Time features are great and the bright graphics help make the learning fun."

"This is a great app for reinforcing time concepts and problem solving with kids. I like how it makes kids think about time in different ways using the four question categories so it can be used for kids at different levels."

"Nice graphics. Levels can be changed for both of my kids. Both of them enjoy challenging one another. Great way to teach the basics of time and reading clocks."

Kids Time Fun encourages early learning for children to learn and practice how to tell time and how to practice math involving time. Kids of all abilities can use this application because it provides full access to all the settings. So, each child in a classroom or at home can easily tailor the application to their own ability level before they use it.

There are six early learning activities: Tell Time, Elapsed Time, Time After, and Time Before, Set Time, and Mixed Mode. Tell Time shows a clock and asks the child what time is it? Elapsed Time shows two clocks and ask the child to figure out how much time has passed between the first clock and second clock. Time After shows a clock and then asks the child to figure out what the new time will be after a specific number of hours and minutes have passed. Time Before shows a clock and then asks the child to figure out what the new time will be before a specific number of hours and minutes. Set Time shows a "digital" or "numeric" time and asks the child to touch and move the hands on the clock to match the "numeric" time. Finally, in Mixed Mode the person is presented with a random activity and is challenged to really master all aspects of Learning to Tell Time.

Children can gain confidence by doing 10-50 practice problems with unlimited time, or they can build proficiency by seeing how many problems they can answer with a 1-5 minute time limit.

Additionally, one of four levels of difficulty can be selected to assist with different degrees of early learning: Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Red Belt, or Black Belt. These difficulty levels vary the complexity of the problems and the number of answer choices. For Yellow Belt, the time is varied by 30 minute intervals, the math is in the range of two hours, and the child has two answer choices. For Green Belt, the time is varied by 15 minute intervals, the math is in the range of four hours, and the child has three answer choices. For Red Belt, the time is varied by five minute intervals, the math is in the range of six hours, and the child has four answer choices. For Black Belt, the time is varied by one minute intervals, the math is any range, and the child has four answer choices.
